Hello, and I would like to welcome you to our virtual Christmas play – The Christmas Message. The Christmas Message will be in the following posts, but this will give you a little information for which to work from, and allow you to decide if you want to use or modify it.
We know that 2020 has been a challenge for a lot of people, and churches included. Many have had to stop, or limit, what they normally due during the holidays, eliminating cantatas and Christmas plays.
So we’ve created this virtual play that can be used whenever. I’ve included the narrator speaking parts so you can perform this at your church. Feel free to use a narrator and have several people pantomime it out.
I’ve also included additional information to help, the text, or want to know where in Bible the story can be found, and songs that you can use during your performance, whether its by watching these videos, or others.
The text can be freely copied and used for personal use if you wish to read and/or act it out with your family. Please consider this our gift to you this Christmas season.
We hope that this helps provide a sense of normalcy for you and your family while providing you with some interesting perspectives on how different people received the message of Christ’s birth.
